Las Cruces is rolling out the red carpet.
Film Las Cruces will mark its 10th anniversary Oct. 30 with a community celebration spotlighting a decade of local film success — and offering a glimpse at what’s coming next for southern New Mexico’s growing screen scene.
The event is scheduled 5-7:30 p.m. at the Doña Ana Community College film and digital media soundstage.
Film Las Cruces will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a special event on Oct. 30, 2025.
The celebration will feature film sets, makeup demonstrations and local film companies. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
“Our town has achieved so much since forming Film Las Cruces ten years ago, that it’s a great moment to celebrate this amazing milestone as a community,” said Andrew Jara, film liaison for Film Las Cruces. “In the past ten years, we’ve reached record levels of local film production, created an amazing film office and seeded the formation of a new film studio, and created great new jobs and business opportunities. We invite the community to join us at the fun celebration on Oct. 30th, to kick off the next chapter in our journey!”
The celebration is free and open to all to see the role Las Crucens have played in building a thriving local film industry.
Join the festivities and experience an evening of “Lights, Camera, Enchantment” as Film Las Cruces marks a milestone decade in cinematic style, organizers said.
