RESIDENTS and visitors across BCP can look forward to a packed week of summer events with everything from seaside fireworks and funfairs to food, music and sport on offer.
The week of August 11 has various events across BCP for families to enjoy this summer.
August 11 to17, Christchurch Quay will be alive with the sights and sounds of the Christchurch Funfair all week, bringing traditional rides, games, and classic fairground snacks to the waterfront.
On Tuesday 12 August, Bournemouth Beach will host the BH Live Active Pop-Up, giving beachgoers a chance to try new sports and wellness activities for free.
Also on Tuesday, Waterman’s Park will welcome families to the Christchurch Food Bank Family Funday, complete with stalls, live music, games, and tasty treats.
The week will build towards the much-anticipated Christchurch Carnival from Friday August 15 to Sunday, August 17. The free, three-day event will feature live music, vibrant parades, food stalls, a bustling funfair and conclude with fireworks finale over the quay on Sunday evening.
Elsewhere, Poole Quay Summer Fireworks will continue to attract the crowds on Thursday evening with live entertainment and a sparkling display, while Bournemouth Friday Fireworks will light up the skies above the pier.
Organisers are encouraging people to share their summer snaps online and tag the events they have enjoyed.
