Leaders at Astoria Visual Arts invite artists to submit work for its annual open-call exhibition, “Fish & Form: Net Results,” celebrating salmon and fish-themed artwork to coincide with the FisherPoets Gathering in late February.
It is the sixth year for the project.
Artists may submit one to four pieces in any medium and any size, although works wider than 40 inches must be approved by AVA in advance because gallery space is limited.
Artwork does not need to be for sale.
Items may be delivered to the AVA at 959 Commercial St., in Astoria, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Feb. 10 or 10 a.m. to noon Feb. 11. Early delivery may be arranged by emailing [email protected].
The exhibition will open Feb. 14 and remain on view through March 8.
