The track, produced by DJH, marks her first new music of 2026. Twigs has been teasing the song on tour this summer.
The song was born from frustration. FKA Twigs shared the backstory on Instagram. She wrote:
“I wrote this song with yachty in the evening after a long dance rehearsal when I had found out that my previous manager and production team had not got me visa’s in time to go to Coachella and complete my headline EUSEXUA USA tour.”
She stayed late in the dance studio, practicing in denial. She added:
“It never ceases to amaze me how pain can manifest into the hardest and most euphoric sonics.”
The release follows her 2025 albums Eusexua and Eusexua Afterglow. She previously told Rolling Stone that she has always been curious about the type of artist she is and that after her projects, there is always “a burst of creativity afterwards.”
Word is that there is “more from FKA Twigs coming very soon.”
