Flare was born immortal over millions of years ago. She was happy living with her mother and father, growing up strong and healthy, until one night. Her small hut was raided and both of her parents were killed, after the raiders realized she was immortal she was taken and experimented on. Immortal dragons are extremely rare, usually one hatching every 50 million years. Her blood was taken, for years and years she was nothing but a lab rat. Until she escaped, no one has exact records of how, but she did. Flare wandered around, not knowing what her purpose was or if she could keep living on until one day, she met another dragon worth caring for. They lived together for many years, until he died. Flare was devastated, as she was immortal. She swore to never have true emotions for anyone as it would hurt her more than anyone, she also swore to never let anyone feel joy or happiness, as she never got to experience for long.
