Sara Florez scored a career-high 23 points as Memorial defeated St. Mary (Ruth.), 42-36, in the Lady Royals Holiday Tournament final in Ridgefield.
Florez, a junior, made four 3-pointers to go with five rebounds and five assists.
Marissa Ramos had nine points and seven rebounds for Memorial (2-3) and Katya Tepoz pulled tdown 12 rebounds in the win.
St. Mary falls to 2-5.
