Floyd Roger Myers Jr., Who Played Young Will Smith on ‘Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,’ Dies at 42

Floyd Roger Myers Jr., who played a younger version of Will Smith on “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” died Wednesday. He was 42.

His mother, Renee Trice, told TMZ that Myers had a heart attack at his home in Maryland, and that the actor had a history of cardiac issues.

Myers was 9 years old when he appeared in the Season 3 episode of “Fresh Prince” titled “Will Gets Committed,” which aired in September 1992. The episode features a flashback to the 1970s, with Myers portraying a child version of Will Smith.
