Foo Fighters are coming to Nashville.
As part of the band’s “Take Cover” stadium tour consisting of only eight U.S. dates, the Foo Fighters are set to play Nissan Stadium Aug. 15, 2026.
Supporting acts for the Nashville date will be Queens of the Stone Age, Mannequin Pussy and Gauge Away.
Via the band’s email newsletter, front man Dave Grohl said since the band’s return to the stage in San Luis Obispo recently, the band was reminded of why they love and are forever devoted to doing “this Foo Fighters thing.”
“From reuniting as a band and staring at a list of 30 years worth of songs to brush off, to reimagining versions with the incredible blessing of the one-and-only Ilan Rubin behind the drums, to reconnecting with our amazing fans and blasting them with everything we’ve got (no matter the size of the venue) because we would not be here without them, we have the most solid core,” he wrote. “And the sun is finally rising over the horizon.”
Dave Grohl performs with the Foo Fighters during the second day of the Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival at The Park at Harlinsdale Sunday, Sept. 22, 2019, in Franklin, Tenn.
After tragically losing the band’s longtime drummer, Taylor Hawkins, in 2022, the Foo Fighters recruited drummer Josh Freese who played with the group until 2025 when he was replaced with Ilan Rubin, who has played with Nine Inch Nails and Paramore, among others.
