Halloween may be more than a month away, but there are already signs of its upcoming arrival. Spirit Halloween has reopened, soon leaves will change, and now there’s another.
Every year around this time, Food Network becomes incredibly popular for its fun, scary, and sometimes stress-inducing competition shows. Here’s what we know about some of for this upcoming season:
When does Halloween Wars 2025 start?
“Halloween Wars” showcases teams of cake, sugar, and pumpkin artists creating massive, incredible displays you couldn’t believe were made with edible ingredients.
New episodes air every Sunday at 9 p.m. starting on Sept. 21, however there’s a special beforehand called “Road to Halloween Wars” where we see artists vie for a spot in the competition. It airs this Sunday at 11 p.m.

When does Halloween Baking Championship 2025 start?
“Halloween Baking Championship” shows bakers creating delicious and eye-catching treats from cakes and tarts to cupcakes and more. The new season premieres on Monday at 9 p.m. with a two hour episode and returns every week at the same time.

When does Outrageous Pumpkins 2025 start?
Unlike the other two, “Outrageous Pumpkins” doesn’t have confectionary challenges. Instead, pumpkin carvers compete outside in a pumpkin patch, creating incredible displays with unique skills and tools.
The show has reportedly not been picked up for a new season this year, however re-runs will be broadcast. The first three episodes of last year’s season will air back-to-back on Sunday, Sept. 28 starting at 5 p.m.

How to stream Food Network shows
Food Network’s primary streaming service is HBO Max. New episodes of any shows are often added to the service the next day, and you can watch the whole library of previous episodes.
You may also be able to stream certain shows for free on the Food Network app is you have an applicable TV provider like DirecTV or Dish.
