Emily Maynard is taking on a new role in her family!
On Tuesday, August 26, the 39-year-old Bachelorette alum’s eldest daughter, Ricki Hendrick, 20, revealed she is pregnant, making Maynard a first-time grandmother.
On Tuesday, Ricki posted a photo of her sonogram on her Instagram Story, jokingly writing, “Netflix told me I’m not allowed to talk about it.” The soon-to-be mom credited Love Island USA contestant Huda Mustafa for the quote.
In a second post on her Instagram Story, Ricki shared an ultrasound video of her baby.
“My heart is so full, yet my stomach is so empty because she hates all food,” Ricki wrote on the post. “I’m convinced.”
Maynard shares Ricki with her late fiancé, Ricky Hendrick. The NASCAR driver passed away in a plane crash in October 2004, and in 2011, Maynard went on a quest for love as she appeared on season 15 of The Bachelor. The media personality got engaged to Brad Womack, but the pair called it quits that year.
Maynard then became the season 8 Bachelorette in 2012, where she got engaged to Jef Holm before splitting later that year.
Following her reality TV days, Maynard tied the knot with Tyler Johnson in 2014. The couple share five children: Jennings, 9, Gibson, 8, Gatlin, 7, Magnolia, 4, and Jones, 3.
