Eva Green made waves as Bond Girl Vesper Lynd opposite Daniel Craig in 2006’s James Bond film Casino Royale. But nearly 20 years after the film’s debut, the French actress is more beautiful than ever.
Green, 45, made her film debut in Bernardo Bertolucci‘s controversial 2003 movie The Dreamers, and followed that up with Ridley Scott‘s Kingdom of Heaven. But it wasn’t until she took on the role of Lynd in Casino that Green became an international superstar.
On her Instagram page, Green shared a stunning series of photos from a Roger Vivier event that demonstrated why she’s known as a fashion icon. Green wore a sleek black sheath dress with a high slit up the thigh, which paired perfectly with her raven-colored hair.
“Always an honor to celebrate a house that defines luxury. The latest @rogervivier x @mytheresa.com collection is, without question, exquisite. It’s the kind of work that transcends fashion and becomes pure art. @gherardofelloni is a true maestro, weaving the Maison’s legacy into the future with such beauty and brilliance ✨,” Green captioned the photos.
Eva Green is Reuniting With Samuel L. Jackson
Green appeared in Tim Burton’s 2016 dark fantasy Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, where she crossed paths with movie legend Samuel L. Jackson. Since then, she’s wanted to dip her toes back into comedy. Finally, she’s getting the chance, and she gets to spend time with Jackson. The duo has signed on for Martin Campbell’s thriller Just Play Dead, the Hollywood Reporter shared earlier this month.
“I’ve been wanting to do another comedy for a long time and fell in love with the script and the idea of working with Sam,” Green said of the project to THR. “His energy and generosity were unforgettable [on Miss Peregrine]. Sam brings humor, focus, and total confidence. He’s generous and fun: the best kind of partner on set.”
According to a synopsis, the film follows wealthy criminal mastermind Jack Wolfe, played by Jackson, who, when cornered by federal police, plans to fake his own death and claim a $30 million life insurance payout with his “grieving” wife, Nora, played by Green. Now that sounds like fun.
