The chief executive of the Royal Society of Arts (RSA) has joined the board of LW Entertainment. DAVID JOSEPH is to serve as a non-executive director.
The former chief executive of Universal Music Group UK, Joseph is a “long-term collaborator” of LW Entertainment’s owner, the composer ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER.
For eight years Joseph had a spot on the National Council of Arts Council England. He was made a Commander of the British Empire in the 2016 New Year’s Honours for services to the music industry and is currently chair of the Grenfell Foundation.
Calling LW Entertainment an “exceptional company”, Joseph said: “It has consistently pushed creative boundaries and its ambition for the next chapter is truly unrivalled.”
Lloyd Webber added: “I am thrilled that David Joseph has agreed to join the board of LW Entertainment. David has been a vital friend and colleague throughout his time at Universal Music Group. His unrivalled knowledge of the music industry will be of enormous value to the company. I could not be more delighted.”
