EXECUTIVE ELEVATION
Fox Entertainment Global has named Liz Tang as VP, U.K. content and acquisitions, marking an expansion of the distribution arm’s London operations. Tang will spearhead content management for Fox’s U.K.-based production entities while sourcing third-party programming to bolster FEG’s global slate across scripted and unscripted formats.
Tang arrives from Fifth Season, where she spent five years leading global acquisition and financing efforts for premium content. Her resume includes buyer roles at Sky U.K., BBC Studios, Channel 5, and Discovery Networks International, plus early career positions at Viacom’s MTV Networks and Epix spanning London and New York markets.

PRINCESS DIARIES
Atomic Television, a Zinc Media Group label, is producing “The Day Diana Died,” a 90-minute documentary for Channel 5 marking the anniversary of Princess Diana‘s death. The film will chronicle the critical hours following news of her passing, examining key decisions by the royal household, newsrooms, and Tony Blair’s government.
Featuring interviews with Tina Brown, Colin Tebbutt, Dickie Arbiter, Ian Hislop, pilot Graham Laurie, and BBC anchor Nik Gowing, the documentary offers behind-the-scenes access to those at the story’s heart.
Lucy Willis commissioned for Channel 5 and Paramount Plus. The executive producer is Stephen McQuillan.
SOCCER SEASON
Sky Sports is delivering its biggest-ever soccer Premier League season with a minimum of 215 exclusively live matches, up from 128. The expanded coverage includes every 2pm Sunday kick-off, a U.K. broadcaster first, plus supersized Super Sundays featuring up to four simultaneous games.
New innovations include “Multiview,” a dynamic program covering all concurrent matches with dedicated commentary, and “Extra Time,” an hour-long analysis show with Jamie Carragher. Mark Chapman joins the presenting team alongside David Jones and Kelly Cates.
The partnership runs through 2029, maintaining Sky as the Premier League’s home with record fixture coverage.
