He was at the White House representing Novo Nordisk, which manufactures the semaglutide Ozempic, after the company struck up a deal with Trump to reduce the cost of weight loss drugs for Americans.
Per the agreement, GLP-1s will be covered by Medicaid to treat obesity, while requiring Medicare to cover the drugs for Americans at risk of other obesity-related health problems.
