The UK-based Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has announced a strategic partnership with RWS Global to redesign and expand its onboard entertainment program, marking a new phase in the company’s efforts to refine the guest experience.
The collaboration follows extensive analysis of passenger feedback, both verbal and written, which highlighted a demand for more varied and immersive entertainment at sea.

Beginning in February 2026, Fred Olsen’s Bolette, Borealis, and Balmoral will introduce a reimagined daytime entertainment program, with a full fleet rollout scheduled for September of the same year. The new lineup will integrate theatrical productions and live performances across genres, including musical theatre, pop, disco, country, and Latin music, complemented by themed events, game shows, and culinary experiences.
RWS Global will assume full-service responsibility for entertainment operations, encompassing creative design, production, casting, and management. The partnership is expected to enhance operational consistency, expand creative innovation, and align with Fred. Olsen’s long-term brand development goals.
