HBO’s “The Comeback,” starring Lisa Kudrow, is returning for a third season and will feature a special guest from the popular 1990s sitcom “Friends.”
Kudrow’s son, Julian Stern, will be making an appearance on the show in one episode, according to IMDb.
Stern was born on May 7, 1998, and is the son of Kudrow and Michel Stern. The 27-year-old has been working as an editor and actor and is known for his work in “Seth’s Big Break Two,” “Doomed,” and “Wish Upon A Disco Ball.”
Other cast members that will be in “The Comeback” include Abbi Jacobson (“Broad City”), John Early (“The Great North”), Barry Shabaka Henley (“Bob Hearts Abishola”), Tony Macht (“Dying for Sex”), Brittany O’Grady (“The White Lotus”) and Zane Phillips (“Legacies”), TV Line wrote.
The show is in the middle of creating its third and final season. It will debut on HBO and HBO Max in June 2026, Deadline reports.
The show is a mockumentary that documents the life of B-list celebrity Valerie Cherish (Kudrow), a washed-up sitcom actor from the 1990s who tries to revive her career by starring in a reality television show.
The first two seasons of “The Comeback”, which aired in 2005 and 2014, garnered four Emmy nominations, including two for the performance of Kudrow, Deadline reported.
