OSHKOSH – Oshkosh Public Library has announced its September events.
The library will be closed Sept. 1 for Labor Day, according to a community announcement. Throughout the month, the library will offer a variety of programs for all ages.
Storytime for Grownups will take place at 6 p.m. Sept. 2 at Planet Perk. The Teen Advisory Board will meet at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 3.
On Sept. 4, adults can attend Reference Solutions at noon, while teens can join the Animanga Club at 4:30 p.m. Chess Club will meet at 5 p.m.
Book clubs for preteens and teens are scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Sept. 5. The Oshkosh Community Jam will be held from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sept. 6, followed by Games at the Library: TTRPG from noon to 2 p.m.
Preschool Storytime will be at 9:30 a.m. Sept. 8, and Read to a Dog for ages 5-12 will be at 4 p.m. Tunes & Tots will take place at 10 a.m. Sept. 9, with Adult DIY from 6 to 7 p.m. and Stitch Together at 6:30 p.m.
Baby & Toddler Storytime will be at 9:30 and 10:15 a.m. Sept. 10 and 17, and at 10:15 a.m. Sept. 11 and 18. The Second Thursday Book Group will meet at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 11, followed by the Adult Animanga Club at 4 p.m. and Chess Club from 5 to 7 p.m.
Elementary and Young Adult Book Clubs are set for 4:30 p.m. Sept. 12. Read to a Dog will be at 10 a.m. Sept. 13, along with Nibbles & Giggles from noon to 1:30 p.m.
An Evening with Gaelic Harpist Jeff Pockat will be at 6 p.m. Sept. 15. The Winnebago Free Legal Assistance Clinic for adults will be at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 16, followed by Railroad Memories in Oshkosh: A History in Pictures at 6:30 p.m.
Not Your Classic Book Club will meet from 6 to 7 p.m. Sept. 18. WonderSTEAM for elementary and preteen children will be at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 19. Read to a Rabbit or Guinea Pig for ages 6 and up will be from 10 a.m. to noon Sept. 20.
Banned Book Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 23. Pratt Trail: A Path to Preserving History and Heritage will be at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 24.
The Menominee Park Zoo Live Animal Event will be at 10 a.m. Sept. 26. Games at the Library: European Board Games will be from noon to 2 p.m. Sept. 27.
The U.S. Constitution: A 3-Part Course for Citizens will begin at 6 p.m. Sept. 29.
