A new Game of Thrones show is on the horizon, and the head of HBO just revealed the release month for the spinoff. After the huge success of the fantasy series, HBO started brainstorming ideas for various spinoffs. After Bloodmoon was shelved, the network ordered House of the Dragon, which aired its second season in 2024.
A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, based on George R.R. Martin‘s Dunk and Egg stories, is currently in post-production. The series, starring Peter Claffey, Dexter Sol Ansell, Finn Bennett, Bertie Carvel, Tanzyn Crawford, Daniel Ings and Sam Spruell, was originally supposed to air in 2025 but has been delayed until 2026.
