George and Amal Clooney Indulge in La Dolce Vita with a Yacht Outing in Capri

George and Amal Clooney brought their signature elegance to the Italian coast, enjoying a luxurious outing on a yacht in Capri. 

The Oscar winner, 65, and the human rights lawyer, 48, were spotted visiting the famous Villa Bragaglia on the glamorous island off the coast of Naples on July 14. The property was built in the 1940s by Italian director and producer Carlo Ludovico Bragaglia. 

For the visit, George opted for a simple white polo, complementary grey dress pants and a pair of white loafers. Meanwhile, Amal donned a multi-colored, fringed halter dress with stripes of teal, orange and brown. She completed the outfit with a pair of beige open-toed, wedge sandals and a brown leather Aquazzura bag with a cutout design. Both topped off their looks with sunglasses. 

During the visit, the couple, who wed in September 2014, locked arms as they walked side-by-side to the property. While getting on and off the yacht, George offered a helping hand to his wife.

George and Amal aren’t the only celebs spending some quality time soaking up the Italian sun this summer. On the same day, Jennifer Lopez showed off a summery outfit while in Sicily for Dolce & Gabbana’s 2026 Alta Moda show. In an Instagram post, the singer posed on a balcony while wearing a white eyelet mini dress and matching headscarf. 

Sofía Vergara celebrated her 54th birthday weekend on a yacht in Italy as well. The Modern Family alum shared photos on Instagram one day after her July 10 birthday. Her post included snaps of herself in a sizzling red two-piece bikini. 

Lovebirds Jessica Alba and boyfriend Danny Ramirez made the most of their recent European getaways, as seen in several photos and videos shared to the actress’ social media on July 8.  

George and Amal’s coastal trip comes after the Ocean’s Eleven star opened up to PEOPLE about how the couple stopped traveling to “dangerous” places after becoming parents. The couple welcomed twins Alexander and Ella, 9, in 2017.

“You can’t just go swinging as you used to,” Clooney told PEOPLE at the premiere of Jay Kelly at AFI Fest in October 2025. “Amal and I both had to change our goals on where we would go. I used to enjoy going to places that were dangerous. I liked going into the Nuba Mountains and Darfur and Abyei, and there [were] war zones.”

“And I found it exhilarating. And Amal was in a bunker in Beirut for two years doing the court cases. And we had to make decisions not to do that once we had kids,” the actor continued. “You had to change sort of what the rules were.”

Italy isn’t just a vacation destination for the pair, it’s a home base. George owns the stunning Villa Oleandra on the shores of Lake Como in the north of the country. The historic home has hosted many famous friends, including Emily Blunt and John Krasinski, who tied the knot there in 2010. The property also recently had a star turn in The Devil Wears Prada 2.
