BEAVER DAM – George Thorogood and The Destroyers will perform at the Dodge County Fair on Aug. 22.
The concert is scheduled for 8 p.m. on the Moraine Park Main Stage, according to a community announcement.
The band is extending its The Baddest Show on Earth Tour into 2026. In 2025, the group played nearly 90 shows, was honored by the Grammy Museum and had Thorogood’s “Bad to the Bone” guitar placed on permanent exhibit at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

More than 50 years of rock
With more than 8,000 shows performed and 15 million albums sold, the band has earned a reputation as “The All-American rock & roll party band,” according to the announcement. Fans can expect to hear hits such as “Bad to the Bone,” “One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer,” “Move It On Over” and “I Drink Alone.”
“We’ll always be focused on playing music that makes all kinds of people happy,” Thorogood said. “When we hit the stage on any given night, I can guarantee that we’ll make you feel like a teenager again.”

Full day of fair activities
The Saturday lineup at the fair is packed with activities, according to the announcement.
The horse pull kicks off at 9 a.m., followed by the Fleet Farm Tractor Pull at noon. The midway will be open for “Family Day” from noon to 5 p.m., featuring discounted ride tickets.

Admission is free with paid gate entry
The concert is free with paid gate admission to the fair, according to the announcement. There are no reserved seats, and seating is first-come, first-served in the grandstands.
Daily admission before noon is $10, and after noon is $15. Season tickets are available in advance for $35, which equates to $7 per day. Children ages 9 and younger are free.
