You heard it here first, Gigi Hadid’s “goal in life is to look as chic or put together as possible while always being comfortable.” And she’s a master at it.
Over the weekend, the supermodel stepped out for a sunny day date with boyfriend Bradley Cooper in Los Angeles. The setting was celebrity-approved Santa Monica hotspot Giorgio Baldi, and her look was ideal for both a cute dinner res and a hot summer afternoon.
The highlight of Hadid’s fit was her pants: breezy wide-leg pants with a stretchy waistband and deep pockets. They seemed to be made out of light cotton or linen, and came in a buttery yellow—yes, the soft hue is still making the rounds.
As usual, the Guest in Residence founder kept her look easy, pairing her statement pants with a slinky black long-sleeve top and the chicest black leather flats—each featuring a square toe, a teeny bow, and a stretchy band at the top. A little black shoulder bag, a diamond lucky-eye necklace, and black oval shades were her only accessories.
The actor followed his girlfriend’s “keep it casual” lead, pulling on a blue T-shirt, gray trousers, and white-and-gray sneakers. The two held hands as they headed out for a bite.
“I very rarely, even on red carpets, will wear things that I feel uncomfortable in throughout the event because I just feel like I can’t be myself as much when I’m thinking about what I’m wearing in that way,” Hadid told Harper’s Bazaar soon after launching her cashmere brand.
We support that, Gigi.
