If ever I imagined my ideal, model-off-duty winter street-style look, this would be it. Gigi Hadid delivered a lesson in easy sophistication as she stepped out in New York City yesterday, hours before walking the runway at the Ralph Lauren Fall/Winter 2026-27 show.
The star of the look was a long suede trench coat in the smooth “mocha mousse” hue that took over 2024. The luxurious outerwear was belted tightly at the waist and layered over classic blue jeans that were cut off at the ends, leaving raw, frayed hems. Cozy beige socks were slipped into chunky black loafers to wrap up the look, and on her arm, Hadid carried Liffner’s Pillow Hobo bag in a dark chocolate suede.
For a finishing touch, the supermodel accessorized with her favorite cashmere scarf from her brand, Guest in Residence, in a burnt cocoa and sandy beige paisley jacquard. The piece was tied around Hadid’s neck, and she Olsen-tucked her blonde hair into it. Named “The Wild Rag,” the elegant bandana retails for $245 and comes in various color combinations.
Later in the day, Hadid walked the catwalk for Ralph Lauren. She opened the show wearing a fitted brown set layered over a black long-sleeve top and styled with a dangly silver belt and boots. And she closed the show looking incredible in a velvet gown in an earthy silver color, adorned with crystal-covered mesh panels, and cinched with a large Western belt.
