The Gilmore Girls alum has been busy lately, working on new acting projects and parenting daughter Ke’ala, whom he shares with wife Jarah Mariano. But even before he had a hectic schedule, Milo always preferred to keep things close to the vest—though longtime fans know the actor sporadically posts behind-the-scenes looks into his world on Instagram.
Well, it looks like Milo is dropping a surprise present for the holiday season, as he broke his social media silence for the first time in over three years. Sharing an Instagram photo of the sun breaking through the clouds, he noted that life has been treating him well lately. He also implied that fans can expect to see more from him in the future.
“Time passes. Been awhile,” he wrote in the caption on December 9. “Hope everyone’s been well. Life’s busy but good. I’m gonna try to post a bit more of what I’ve been up to + projects I’ve been working on. Here it is.”
When fans realized they would have more chances to interact with Milo online, they were ecstatic.
“We missed ya… welcome back 🙂,” one person wrote in the comments. “There he is. Good to see you, man,” another penned. “Welcome back and thank you for bringing a bit of joy 💙,” a different follower added.

As Milo shared in an exclusive interview with Good Housekeeping on December 6, he’s ready to celebrate his first Christmas as a dad. What’s more, he’s more appreciative of what the most wonderful time of the year means to him now that he has a baby girl.
“The older that I get and now that I really, truly have a family of my own, I value the experience of being together,” he shared with us. “That’s what I’m really looking forward to this year.”
