Glen Powell escapes death again, again, and again in the latest trailer for The Running Man, Edgar Wright’s upcoming adaptation of the 1982 Stephen King novel of the same name.

The dystopian action flick stars Powell as Ben Richards, a family man who decides the only way he can get the money necessary to help his sick daughter is to enter a popular television contest with a simple concept: Survive 30 days of professional assassins trying to kill you, and win a boatload of cash. The new trailer opens with a shot of Ben filmed almost like a reality TV show talking head interview, with the character pondering: “You know, I’ve been thinking about the show: For the next 30 days, everyone in the country is trying to murder me. That’s crazy, right?”

The trailer goes on to tease some of the wild action set pieces Wright has concocted for the film, as well as Ben’s steady realization that this already demented game is likely rigged. He links up with some ostensible underground figures, too, including one played by William H. Macy, who outfits Ben with a fake identity (but declines to sell him some C4), and another played by Michael Cera, who tells Ben: “You know why they cheered for you down there? If you can survive against those goons, so can they.”

Along with Powell, Macy, and Cera, The Running Man’s stacked cast features Colman Domingo as the bombastic host of the TV show and Josh Brolin as its conniving producer. The film, which arrives Nov. 14, also stars Lee Pace, Jayme Lawson, Emilia Jones, Katy O’Brian, and Martin Herlihy.

This marks the second time that The Running Man has been turned into a movie. Back in 1987, Paul Michael Glaser directed an adaptation that starred Arnold Schwarzenegger, Yaphet Kotto, Richard Dawson, María Conchita Alonso, Jim Brown, Jesse Ventura, and more. (Mick Fleetwood and Dweezil Zappa even had small parts in the flick.)
