Grace Gummer is serving sheer drama on the red carpet!
At the 3rd annual Gotham Television Awards in New York City, on Monday, June 1, the actress, 40, stepped out in a daring look for a date night with husband Mark Ronson. She also reunited with her Love Story castmates on the red carpet as Emmy season kicks off.
Gummer ditched her bra as she stepped out in a sheer black Issey Miyake column dress with a black miniskirt underneath and strings of fabric placed over top, creating an abstract pattern. She added black shoes and wore her hair in an elegant updo.
Ronson, 50, stepped out in a Tom Ford look consisting of a white jacket, black shirt and black pants.
The record producer and actress first sparked engagement rumors in May 2021 before secretly tying the knot that year. They became first-time parents when they welcomed their daughter in 2023.

Gummer portrayed Caroline Kennedy in the hit FX series Love Story, which chronicled JFK Jr. and Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy’s romance.
In a March interview with Elle, the actress said the cast was surprised by the reaction to the show.
“We knew people would like it, but we didn’t know it would be a global phenomenon,” Gummer explained. “We all have a group chat together, and we’re like, ‘Okay, what is going on?’ “
She also revealed how she would feel if creator Ryan Murphy were to make a series about her mom, legendary actress Meryl Streep.
“I just don’t know if that would happen, right?!” Gummer said. “Because my upbringing was nowhere near public.”

“The thing about the Kennedys is there’s always been this lore about them, this mist in the American era that is so intriguing and will constantly be huge on the public stage,” she continued. “It always has been. People are always fascinated with them. And no one is immune to an ill-fated love story. I think we really, really need that right now.”

Speaking with Elle, Gummer recalled an item from her Love Story wardrobe that perfectly represented her character.
“There was this one piece I found at one of my first fittings — a vintage Valentino striped shirt from the late 1980s — that so summed up who she was at that time,” Gummer told the outlet. “It has a little bit of a shoulder, buttons all the way to the top, the most beautiful fit. It’s one of those things that can’t be replicated now.”
Gummer continued, “The moment I put it on, I was like, ‘Oh, here she is.’ She buttons the cuffs, always, and buttons it all the way to the top. Together, classy, elegant, old world, but with this spirit. Everybody talks about Caroline’s style — I think she had impeccable style, and still does.”
