Season ticket packages are now available for Thomasville Entertainment Foundation’s 89th concert series, following a month-long focus on season ticket renewals in Thomasville, Georgia.
TEF’s 2026-27 season offers diverse lineup of classical and nonclassical artists, opening on Sept. 19 with Tony and Grammy Award winner Heather Headley in an evening of songs from Broadway, pop and the Great American Songbook.
A veteran of six Broadway and West End productions from “Aida” and “The Lion King” to “The Color Purple,” Headley is a sought-after vocalist and recording artist appearing on the world’s great concert stages and currently starring in the Netflix series “Sweet Magnolias.”
In October, Camerata RCO, a unique classical ensemble made up of members of Amsterdam’s renowned Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, plans a program of Mozart and Beethoven. Camerata RCO’s chamber ensemble draws energy and inspiration from a more intimate relationship with the audience and with each other.
Bluegrass comes to the TEF stage in January, as five-time Grammy winning composer and bassist Edgar Meyer joins with three-time Grammy nominee Mike Marshall on mandolin, and George Meyer on violin/fiddle. The Meyer-Marshall-Meyer Trio of acclaimed performers – equally sought after for classical and nonclassical concerts – comes together for a night of lively bluegrass music.
Just in time for Veterans Day, the dynamic Dallas Brass returns to Thomasville in a November performance celebrating America’s 250th birthday with a collection of well-loved songs and patriotic favorites. Now in its 44th year and with six studio albums, Dallas Brass has performed at Carnegie Hall, the White House and festivals around the world, including an appearance on TEF’s 1991-92 concert series.
Winner of numerous piano competitions, including the 2013 American Piano Awards, Sean Chen performs a solo piano recital for Thomasville Entertainment Foundation in February. Lauded by the New York Times for his “alluring, colorfully shaded renditions,” Chen plans a program of diverse works by Frédéric Chopin, Leopold Godowsky and Jean-Phillippe Rameau.
TEF’s performance series wraps up in March with a classical pairing of the acclaimed Dalí Quartet with Ricardo Morales, principal clarinetist with the Philadelphia Orchestra, for a concert that includes Brahms’ Clarinet Quintet in B minor, as well as works by Paquito D’Rivera, Beethoven and more.
Named Ensemble of the Year by Chamber Music America in 2024, the Dalí Quartet keeps imagination and excellence foremost in its musicmaking with its celebrated “classical roots, Latin soul” style.
Season ticket subscriptions are available in three different packages: the six-concert Complete Series at $185, or the three-concert Classics Series and Variations Series, each at $100.
