GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — At The Intersection — a popular Grand Rapids music venue — limited “buy one get one free” tickets are available to celebrate students returning to school.
“Some shows will sell out before others,” Tara Emmorey, box office manager for The Intersection, said. “By Tuesday, most of them will probably be purchased.”

Nearly 30 eligible events will be taking place from September through November — including Neon Trees and Peach Pit.
“A lot of our college students enjoy the EDM music,” Emmorey said. “We have a handful of those on our list.”
The empty Intersection music venue on Dec. 1, 2020.
Other featured genres include heavy metal, rock, country and post-hardcore by musicians from across the country.

“We are a very intimate venue to see up and coming bands,” Emmorey said. “You can see your favorite band right now with a small crowd versus seeing them at the arena.”
