Themis Adamantidis, Konstantinos Argiros, and Giannis Ploutarchos touring Australia highlight the Greek events happening around the country this Spring.

Laiko legend Adamantidis, singer of “Ma Pou Na Pao,” “I Nihta Mirizi Giasemi,” and “Kai Na ‘Mouna” is scheduled to perform in four cities, while the popular contemporary singer Argiros, known for hits like “Ksimeromata,” “Athina Mou” and “Eleutheros,” is set to visit Adelaide, Melbourne, and Sydney.

Ploutarchos and his emotional ballads and laiko-pop hits, will also be touring , with his songs like “Ah Koritsi Mou” and “To Kalitero Paidi.” He will be joined on stage by his daughter Katerina Ploutarchou, an emerging singer in her own right.

For the the theatre lovers, TROY is playing at the Malthouse in Melbourne this month. But, this is the legend of Troy like you’ve never seen it before.

Stardust: The Golden Years of the Castellorizian* Ladies Society on September 18 will reminisce about the trials and tribulations of the group.

Hear about the issues they faced, the hectic social calendar they developed and the fun, laughter and decorum which they brought into the Kastellorizian Community of Melbourne.

Staying in Melbourne, later in September Brunswick Ballroom present ‘Double Opa!’ – with bands Opa Bato! and Estudiantina of Melbourne.

With Opa Bato! delivering Balkan brass music from Serbia, Macedonia, and beyond, and Estudiantina of Melbourne blending Greek, Turkish, Jewish, and Armenian sounds, it’ll sure be a unique multicultural listen.

The Hellenic Writers’ Association of Australia, the Cretan Brotherhood of Melbourne and the Pancretan Association of Melbourne are holding a cultural event dedicated to the legendary Greek composers Manos Hatzidakis and Mikis Theodorakis.

The free event is on September 20 in Brunswick East and will have a range of song and dance performances from various acts.

For those in NSW, the Let’s Go Greek Festival is back on September 21, set to transform the heart of Parramatta into a celebration of Greek culture like no other.

Lastly, over in Hay Valley South Australia, there will be a Greek fest at Lot.100 later in September.

Make your way through a delicious Greek feast while enjoying traditional live music by Band Kosmos and dance entertainment by the Greek Orthodox Community of SA. There will also be a mini-market on offer.
