Gwyneth Paltrow is cozying up to a surprising friend: Ivanka Trump.
“When you’re a Hollywood celebrity you do have to be careful about being too closely associated with somebody with the last name of ‘Trump,’ but Ivanka and Gwyneth have been on good terms for years,” a source tells the National Enquirer, noting that the president’s daughter, 43, is a longtime fan of the A-lister’s lifestyle site, Goop.
And now the Oscar winner, 53, is ready to capitalize on the socialite’s support.

“Gwyneth is feverishly plotting the next chapter of Goop and on the hunt for fresh investments, which means a relationship with Ivanka and [her husband] Jared Kushner is just incredibly valuable,” says the source. “She’s determined to milk it all the way to the bank!”
The blonde New Yorkers actually have a lot in common. “They’ve been compared over the years for their privileged upbringings, private school educations and ‘ice queen’ good looks,” notes the source.
“But there’s a mutual respect between them that runs way deeper than that,” adds the source, “and it isn’t going away anytime soon — no matter what crazy things happen in the political world!”
