Gwyneth Paltrow kept the good vibes going after her surprise appearance at the Grand Ole Opry on Thursday night by singing some more backstage at the historic venue.
“In the dressing room at the @opry last night with Holly and Chris,” she wrote. “Doing what we usually do in the backyard, just after coming off stage.”
Joined by singer Holly Williams and her husband Chris Coleman, who Paltrow also sang with on stage, the behind-the-scenes video captured the three singing Williams’ song “Drinkin.'”
The trio sang the same song on stage.
“Most FUN we have ever had outside of your backyard!!” Williams commented on the video. “Thank youuuuu for lending your ridiculous vocal talents lastnight [sic] to my songs!”
Fans also took the comments praising the Goop founder for her singing skills.
“You and Holly sound amazing! Need more of this!” one wrote, while another added, “I love your voice.”
Dreamy harmonies!!! So much fun last night!!” commented singer Hilary Williams.
“Miss hearing you sing. Loved watching you sing on ‘Glee,'” another added of the actress’ time on the musical-inspired TV show where she played Holly Holliday, a substitute teacher who in her time on the series got sing renditions of Cee Lo Green’s “Forget You,” and Prince’s “Kiss.”
“You’ve still got it, girl,” another commenter chimed in.
Paltrow also starred as a country singer herself with the character Kelly Cantor in the 2010 film ‘Country Strong.’
While the 53-year-old has shy’d away from singing publicly in more recent time, music will always be in her family thanks to her ex-husband, Coldplay frontman, Chris Martin and her daughter, Apple, who has also taken up the reigns, having recently performed in Nashville, with musical duo, Jade Street.
