Halle Berry celebrated her 17-year-old daughter Nahla’s early college acceptance with a cake covered in pink frosting and confetti sprinkles.
“YOU did it Nahla!!” the cake, which was posted Sunday on the “Monster’s Ball” star’s Instagram Stories, read.
“Congratulations to my sweet Angel Nahla for her early college acceptance!” Berry wrote atop the post.
The “Catwoman” star — who shares Nahla with ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry; and son Maceo-Robert, 12, with ex-husband Olivier Martinez — revealed over the summer that her eldest child was about to embark on her college education.
“She’s 17. She’s going to a college summer program, the college that she’s hoping to go to next year,” Berry said on a June episode of “Today with Jenna & Friends.”
“She’s going away this year to the college summer program,” she added.
Though the Oscar winner said she will “worry” about the teen, Berry shared that she is “excited” for Nahla to figure out what’s next.
“I’m dying to see who she’s gonna be and what she’s gonna do and what she’ll discover,” the “B.A.P.S.” actress confessed.
Since welcoming Nahla and Olivier in 2008 and 2013, respectively, Berry has rarely posted photos of her little ones online.
In 2019, the “X-Men” star said it “doesn’t feel right” to “plaster” her children all over the internet.
“They’re gonna do that soon enough. That’s gonna be their life when they grow up, and they will choose when that starts,” she said on the “Today” show at the time.
“I’ve fought really hard to protect their privacy, and I just want them to have their life and have it be theirs.”
