
Halle Berry sad Storm isn’t in ‘Avengers: Doomsday,’ hopes to return
Although Halle Berry is not returning for Avengers: Doomsday, she asssures fans she would be returning for other Marvel reunions.
While speaking with ScreenRant to promote her new thriller movie, Crime 101, the Oscar-winning actress said, “While I’m sad I won’t be in ‘Doomsday’ this round, there are other rounds.”
Berry said, she would be in the other instalment “in a heartbeat.”
“I think the whole world of the X-Men and being mutants and outcasts,” she added. “[They’ve] been movies that I’ve been proud to have my children watch. They have so much to say that I thought has been really important, especially for my children as they’ve grown. So they’re beloved.”
The Catwoman star portrayed Storm from 2000 to 2014, appearing in X-Men, X2: X-Men United, X-Men: The Last Stand, and X-Men: Days of Future Past.
“Storm is an incredibly special character to me,” Berry noted. “I feel so blessed to have had the chance to bring her to life.”
Avengers:Doomsday, directed by MCU regulars Anthony and Joe Russo, is set to release on December 18.
