Kayla Wallace and Kevin McGarry are officially expecting!
The Hallmark Channel stars posted a joint Instagram post on Tuesday, Nov. 11 to announce the big news.
“We can’t wait to meet you, baby♥️,” Wallace, 32, captioned the photos that shows the couple posing with her baby bump in front of a Christmas tree. “Premiering 2026.”
Fans and fellow celebrities flooded the comments section of the joint social-media post on Tuesday. “The most wonderful news! So happy for you!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️” actress Lacy Chabert wrote, while Erin Krakow commented, “I can’t wait to snuggle this little McGarry!!! 🥰”
Wallace and McGarry, 40, met on the set of Hallmark’s When Calls the Heart and have also starred in two movies together for the network. It was announced just recently that the series was picked up for a 13th season, making When Calls the Heart the network’s longest running original series. Filming wrapped in October, and the new installment will premiere in January 2026.
The real-life couple became engaged around Christmas in 2022 and confirmed their marriage in September 2024, Just Jared reports. This will be the first child for both Wallace and McGarry.
Wallace is also a series regular on Landman, whose second season premieres Nov. 16 on Paramount+. She portrays Rebecca, an extremely capable and intimidating liability attorney sent to West Texas to clean up a mess.
Last month, it was revealed that Sam Elliott was joining the hit show alongside Billy Bob Thornton and Demi Moore. Landman is co-created by TV titan Taylor Sheridan, who rose to fame with Yellowstone and its spinoffs in years past.
Adapted from a popular podcast, Landman stars Thornton, 70, as Tommy Norris, a crisis manager for an oil company. The first season also starred Andy Garcia and Jon Hamm. Wallace has had some terrifically tense scenes opposite Thornton’s Tommy thus far, and fans are excited to see what’s to come of their dynamic.
