A brand new festival hits the region this summer as Halo brings its debut one-day music event to Trinity Park on Saturday 4th July.
Headliners Two Door Cinema Club, The Vaccines and Natasha Bedingfield top the bill across three stages — the Main Stage, DJ Tent, and Suffolk Stage — alongside the best rising local talent.

2. Ipswich Music Day

Now in its 36th year, Ipswich Music Day returns to Christchurch Park on Sunday 5th July, cementing its reputation as the largest free one-day music festival in the UK.
The event runs from 12pm to 8pm and features six stages of live music spanning everything from indie and rock to jazz, soul and classical, chosen from over 200 applications this year.
Fairground rides, street food, a marketplace and indoor performances hosted by the Ipswich Arts Association round out a packed family-friendly day.
3. Ipswich Food and Drink Festival

The Ipswich Food and Drink Festival returns to the beautiful surroundings of Chantry Park for a full weekend on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th July, running from 11am to 6pm each day.
Visitors can look forward to street food from around the world, craft beers, ciders, gins, artisan producers, live music and a chilli eating competition.

4. Summer Soul Vibes

Suffolk’s funky soul festival returns for another year on Saturday 11th July, taking over Venue 16 on Tuddenham Road, Ipswich from 1pm to 10:30pm.
An eight-act line-up including Uncle Funk’s Disco Inferno, Nate James, Central Line and the Ipswich Soul Collective promises a full day of soul, funk and disco.
5. Burn the Floor: Nikita Kuzmin – Supernova

Strictly Come Dancing star Nikita Kuzmin brings his explosive new dance spectacular Supernova to Ipswich’s Regent Theatre on Saturday 25th July.
Created in collaboration with BAFTA award-winning choreographer Jason Gilkison and presented by Burn the Floor, the show also features very special guest Nadiya Bychkova.
