Meghan Markle has provided a peek inside her and Prince Harry’s $29 million home through a video shared on social media.
The Duchess of Sussex posted footage on her Instagram story showing her bringing As Ever chocolates to her husband at their residence. Harry seemed excited about choosing from the chocolate selection, opting for white chocolate from the options available.
The couple exchanged greetings as the Duke responded: “Oooo, yes please” upon receiving the chocolate assortment. Meghan said: “White chocolate? You got it,” recognizing her husband’s choice, with Harry replying: “Thank you, love you.”
The Duke sat barefoot at a desk with a laptop, with what looked like military patches visible behind him, while the family’s rescue beagle Mia lay in a basket beneath Harry’s feet during the filming, reports the Express.
Harry showed the chocolate bar to the camera before Meghan left the office. The Duchess has recently been distributing gifts, with GB News reporting she delivered As Ever products to Netflix staff at their Hollywood headquarters.
As Ever’s sales stock was moved to a separate warehouse some time ago and does not take up Netflix premises. Products remaining at Netflix are used exclusively for gifting, sampling or promotional purposes. Netflix staff have access to sample leftover products nearing expiration dates to free up headquarters space – a standard practice at PR agencies and consumer brand communications departments.
The Duchess partnered with Netflix on her With Love, Meghan series, which currently includes two seasons plus a holiday special. Last month, sources close to Meghan rejected claims the business had slowed after internet users discovered a technical glitch showing available stock quantities. Meghan’s Fruit Spread Box displayed 137,465 units in stock at that time, leading Reddit users to suggest declining website sales.
A source told The Sun the figure represented what remained from an initial one million unit order. The source stated: “I think it’s fair to say business isn’t just successful, it’s flying off the shelf. Meghan inadvertently revealed that one million jars were ordered for that one product, and has only 130,000 left.”
Harry chose from As Ever’s Valentine’s Day range, which saw several items sell out within 24 hours of launch. Buying all four bars costs fans $181, though the price includes two jams and a candle alongside the chocolate products.
