When Harry Styles releases a new album, the pop world pays attention. Four years since his last full-length project, Styles came out with his latest album, “Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally” on March 6, 2026. This album showcased a genre-blend that leans into dance floor songs as well as lyrically deep songs with reflective song-writing, using instruments such as the bass, drums, and synthesizer. After my first listen, I have compiled a list of my rankings for each song as well as an explanation.
Although this song is an interesting and different concept from what we are used to seeing with its atmospheric production, it fails to leave as significant of an impact as many other songs on the album, as I find the song a bit dull at times. However, I am a fan of the instrumentals used.
I really enjoyed this song and found the melody enjoyable as well as the production. This song most definitely sticks out as one of the more upbeat and catchy songs on the album. My only complaint would be that the lyrics can get repetitive. However, that is easy to overlook as the song was clearly not written to be a lyrical masterpiece, but rather a fun song to sing along to.
This song brings fun energy with its upbeat tempo and playful vibe. However, compared to many of the other songs on the album, it falls short. It is definitely catchy, but it is not one of my favorites.
- Are You Listening Yet?: 9/10
This song combines excellent lyrics with a powerful build in instrumentation. It started off a bit dull but quickly picked up by the chorus. This is the kind of song that grows on you over time and becomes better with each listen. It is one of my favorites, and I can only imagine myself growing to like it more.
This song is easily my favorite on the album. It hits all the points that you would expect in a Harry Styles album perfectly, from being catchy, memorable, and unique. It is the perfect mix of well-written lyrics and an enjoyable melody.
This song has a relaxed and peaceful feel to it with thoughtful lyrics that truly reflect the album’s nature. While it is well produced, it does not necessarily leave a mark. I agree that it is a well-done song; however, it easily gets overshadowed by many other songs on the album.
- Season 2 Weight Loss: 4/10
This may be the most experimental track on the album, which makes it interesting but also a little uneven. I see the vision; however, I find that the production appears more chaotic than cohesive, and it simply is not as memorable as some of the other tracks. It was a bold idea and had potential, but it felt short.
This song stands out for its smoother production and emotional tone. The instrumentation gives it a slightly cinematic feel that adds depth to the album. While it’s not one of the flashiest tracks, it’s a consistently enjoyable listen.
Pop truly lives up to its name, with its bright, energetic sound and a memorable chorus. The production is slick and modern while still fitting into the album’s disco-influenced style. It’s one of the songs that feels instantly catchy and highly replayable. It is easily one of the best on the album.
This song leans into the album’s disco influences with a catchy groove and polished production. It captures the dance-floor energy the album aims for, though it doesn’t quite reach the heights of the top tracks. However, it is still most definitely a fun and enjoyable song.
- Paint By Numbers: 10/10
This is one of the most beautifully crafted songs on the album. The emotional lyrics and layered instrumentation make it feel both intimate and cinematic. It truly showcases Styles’ writing and production abilities perfectly and is most definitely in my top two.
This song feels more personal and storytelling-focused, which gives it emotional weight. The softer production allows the lyrics and vocals to truly take over. It’s a strong track that adds variety to the album. It may appear a little dull at times, but that can easily be overlooked as it is not meant to be a flashy and over-the-top song, but a deep, lyrical one.
Overall, I rank this album a 7/10. Though it is not my favorite by him, it is still a good, solid album with many great songs. I find that the strongest tracks really stand out and show Harry Styles’ creativity and style, even if some songs don’t hit quite as hard. The album experiments with different sounds while still keeping the fun, pop-inspired energy he’s known for. While it may not be perfect, it’s definitely an album worth listening to!
