Harry Styles‘ team is reviewing the stage setup at his Together, Together Tour after fans complained about obstructed views.
The massive trek kicked off in Amsterdam before a crowd of 50,000 people, bringing Styles’ new album Kiss All the Time, Disco Occasionally to audiences for the first time in two and a half years. Not every fan enjoyed their night, though, as many complained that their views were obstructed.
The stage design, built around large runways connected by bridges, drew particular criticism from pit ticket holders who said the layout left them with partial or near-zero views of Styles for long periods of time during the show.
A rep for the tour addressed the sightline issue directly in a statement to TMZ.
“A small area of the staging in specific floor positions appears to have had a restricted sightline. Those areas are being reviewed carefully and adjusted where possible in compliance with all safety restrictions,” the statement reads.
“The floor concept was designed to give fans freedom of movement and the ability to experience the show from different positions, rather than being confined to one fixed viewing angle,” the rep added.
According to Variety, Styles’ concert setup is unique because the front stage, where the singer’s band is located for most of the show, is only sometimes the focal point. During his show, Styles reportedly uses the walkways frequently and is constantly on the move.
With dozens of dates still ahead on the Together, Together Tour, how the production team adjusts the layout at upcoming venues will be closely watched by ticket holders who paid premium prices for floor access.
