Fans of Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman can rejoice!
Jane Seymour will reunite with her Dr. Quinn co-star Joe Lando once again on Acorn TV’s Harry Wild, the mystery detective series that stars Seymour in the titular role. Lando will play “Pierce Kennedy,” the new State Pathologist, a charming and handsome natural ally for Harry.
Perhaps Parade can take some credit for the reunion? We asked Seymour about Lando guest-starring on Harry Wild ahead of the Season 4 premiere. The actress replied, “I would love to have Joe Lando in an episode of Harry Wild. If there’s any possibility, it’s something we would love to happen in the future, and if I don’t get to work with him on Harry Wild, I’m always looking for something really great to do with him elsewhere.”

Lando starred as Byron Sully, a rugged frontiersman who comes to the aid of Seymour’s Dr. Quinn, a lone female doctor out in the wild west of Colorado Springs, Colorado. The series ran for six seasons, and the characters eventually fell in love and married on the show. Even though the show ended its run in 1998, it still has a loyal following, and fans have been hankering for a reunion ever since. The two previously reunited back in 2022 for a Lifetime Christmas movie, A Christmas Spark.
In Season 5, Harry and Fergus (Rohan Nedd) are back with their most sensational and thrilling ride yet, including murder mysteries in the world of whiskey-making, theatre and musical-tattoos, not to mention a gang of middle-aged lady burglars and a murder close to home.

Harry Wild follows Harriet “Harry” Wild (Seymour), a retired literature professor who discovers a second calling as a private investigator. Jolted by a mugging, she reluctantly agrees to recover in the home of her son, Charlie (Kevin Ryan), a senior police detective in the Dublin Garda. Harry starts to interfere in a particularly baffling murder case her son is investigating when she notices the murder shares striking similarities to an obscure Elizabethan play. When her path crosses again with that of her mugger, Fergus (Nedd), Harry enlists him as her sidekick instead of turning him in. Following her successful, albeit ill-advised, involvement in the case, Harry’s new passion brings her into direct conflict with Charlie, who could really do without his mother causing trouble at work.
Production on Season 5 of Harry Wild began this week in Ireland. The new season will debut in 2026. A 2-part Harry Wild special will debut on Acorn TV as part of the “Autumn to Die For” fall lineup on Monday, Nov. 24.
