Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams is bringing her upcoming solo tour to Minneapolis and she plans to combat scalping and overpriced resale tickets along the way.

Williams announced the “Hayley Williams At A Bachelorette Party” tour Monday, unveiling she’ll stop at The Fillmore on April 18, 2026, as she tours North America, the United Kingdom and Europe on her latest solo album, Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party.

The 1,850-person venue is expected to sell out fast, but Williams outlined her plan Monday to thwart scalpers and keep tickets at face value.

“In short, I’m trying out a platform called Openstage to host a verified presale registration,” she wrote in a statement. “Openstage’s fan validation system helps verify human fans and reduce bots and scalpers, giving my fans a better chance to access tickets.”

The multi-step presale registration for the tour, which aims to guard against bots and scalpers, closes at 9 a.m. Tuesday.

But registrants who receive a unique code to purchase tickets aren’t guaranteed a chance to buy chances, as all will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis Friday.

“I know this won’t be perfect. You shouldn’t have to jump through hoops to buy tickets to see the show, but unfortunately, it’s a broken and convoluted system,” Williams wrote.

“My team and I are doing everything we can, and I am hopeful that the processes we’ve put into place will get as many tickets into the hands of my fans (at face value) as possible,” she continued. “I can’t wait to be back on the road and see all of your faces. We’ll dance, scream, and cry together.”

Williams, 36, picked up four Grammy nominations Friday for Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party, which is her third solo album and her first release since the expiration of her 20-year contract with Atlantic Records.

She’s best known as co-founder and lead singer of the Tennessee-based rock band Paramore, which has released six studio albums and is considered one of the most influential groups of the 2000s pop-punk/emo music scene.

Employees at Down in the Valley record store in Golden Valley said Williams’ album listening party last week drew what might’ve been the business’ largest crowd ever.

Williams’ upcoming Minneapolis show will be supported by Water From Your Eyes, a Chicago-based alternative pop band, and the tour will benefit the LGBTQ youth organization The Ally Coalition.

She last performed in Minnesota with Paramore in 2023 at the Grand Casino Arena.
