HBO Max Renews A24 Streaming Deal; ‘Marty Supreme,’ Charli xcx’s ‘The Moment’ Among Upcoming Movies

Warner Bros. Discovery’s HBO Max and A24 inked a renewal of their licensing pact that will continue to bring the indie studio’s films exclusively to HBO and HBO Max in the Pay-1 TV window in the U.S.

Under the multiyear agreement, HBO Max subscribers will have to A24 movies as they enter the streaming window, including “Marty Supreme” starring Timothée Chalamet and “The Moment” starring Charli xcx. In addition, the deal provides access to a library of dozens of A24 films.

Wbd and A24 announced their initial licensing deal for HBO and HBO Max in December 2023, after A24’s output deal with Showtime expired. According to Warner Bros. Discovery, half of A24’s Pay-1 titles ranked among HBO Max’s top 10 movies within the first two weeks of their premiere on the service in 2025.
