Task has ended its run with a new milestone on HBO Max, becoming one of the streamer’s top three fastest-growing series. Created by Brad Ingelsby (Mare of Easttown), the crime thriller show premiered on September 7 before wrapping up its debut outing on October 19.
Following the series’ acclaimed run, Warner Bros. Discovery now reveals that the Task finale brought in four million cross-platform U.S. viewers across its first three days of availability. This figure puts the finale up 30% from the three-day figures of the premiere, which, to date, now has 11.2 million U.S. viewers.
