HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The lineup has been announced for a new music festival coming to the Rio Grande Valley.
Frontera Fest is the region’s newest three-day event created to celebrate the culture of live music at the border.
The event is managed and owned by LG3 Promotions.
“My partners and my team took a lot of effort trying to put this event together,” Luis Guillen, a promoter with LG3 Promotions, said.
Frontera Fest released its lineup on Tuesday during a press conference, joined by event coordinators, sponsors, and Harlingen city leaders.
The following artists are scheduled to perform at Frontera Fest on Sept. 11 through Sept. 13 at 1216 Fair Park Blvd.

- El Fantasma

Saturday, Sept. 12
Sunday, Sept. 13
Harlingen Mayor Norma Sepulveda spoke at the press conference and expressed gratitude to Frontera Fest for choosing Harlingen to host the event.
“I know that this is going to be an event etched in Harlingen’s history,” Sepulveda said. “We welcome everyone from across the region, across the state, and across the border to come to Frontera Fest right here in the city of Harlingen.”
Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday, and will be available to purchase online.
