RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) – She’s back — and this time, she’s rolling with one of rap’s biggest names.
You’ve heard her right here before on 12 On Your Side — when she became an internet sensation after her original music blew up on TikTok in 2023.
Now, UrFavGrannie is turning up the heat in the rap game once again.

The 60-year-old Uber driver from Henrico just released a new song and music video with none other than rap icon Snoop Dogg. Their track, “Makin’ It Out Da Hood,” has already racked up nearly 200,000 views on YouTube.
In the video, the rapping granny is seen cruising through the streets of California in a white Land Rover before pulling up to Snoop Dogg’s compound — where she picks him up for a ride and the two start rapping together.
“I’m really honestly speechless when I talk about it because it’s almost surreal,” UrFavGrannie said. “Snoop is so real, so genuine, and he really wants to help people. He’s the man.”
This dream collaboration started when Snoop Dogg reposted one of her videos on Instagram — giving her flowers for her lyrics and flow. That viral moment led to an invitation from a third party, who helped her make the trip to California. Once she arrived, she met Snoop in the studio — and the rest is history.
But UrFavGrannie says none of her music would be possible without the help of her producer, Gringo. She praises him for creating the beats that bring her lyrics to life.
Originally from Norfolk, UrFavGrannie now calls Henrico home. She uses her music as a way to tell her life story — sharing the challenges she’s faced and how they’ve shaped the person she is today.
She began her rap journey in 2021, though she’s been creating social media content for years. Her love of music has earned her a massive following — more than 355,000 followers on Instagram and nearly 400,000 on TikTok.
Her latest track, “Makin’ It Out Da Hood,” is now streaming on all major platforms. (Heads up — it’s not one for the kids.)
From the driver’s seat of her Uber to the recording studio with Snoop Dogg, UrFavGrannie is proving that it’s never too late to chase your dreams — or to drop the hottest verse in the room.
