“Jersey Shore” is back, for one final season.
Season 9 of “Jersey Shore Family Vacation,” a spinoff of the original “Jersey Shore” series, airs on MTV on Thursday, May 7. The farewell season celebrates close to 300 “Jersey Shore” episodes, including spinoffs.
In the new, final season, “Snooki” juggles cheer mom life, DJ Pauly D launches his own record label, “JWOWW” directs her second movie while celebrating her 40th birthday, “The Situation” opens his own rehab center and Ronnie steps back into the mix, opening up about his struggles, according to a Paramount news release.
The season premiere comes months after 38-year-old Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi revealed she has stage one cervical cancer on social media. The mother of three said in a TikTok video posted on Feb. 20 that doctors removed a chunk of her cervix with a tumor, and the tumor did not have any cancer cells. She does not require chemotherapy.
