Hilary Duff appeared on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast amid her press tour for her new album, “Luck… or something,” and confirmed a long-standing rumor that she crashed the August 2003 premiere of “Freaky Friday” amid a rivalry with fellow Disney star Lindsay Lohan. The duo’s alleged love triangle with Aaron Carter in the early aughts made all three the targets of gossip rags and paparazzi.
“I think absolutely yes,” Duff answered when asked about whether she crashed the “Freaky Friday” premiere. “I was a teenager!”
On the flip side, Duff said she was not surprised at all when months later Lohan showed up at the December 2023 premiere of Duff’s movie “Cheaper by the Dozen.” Duff added: “I mean, that was like my childhood feud… like my nemesis… it’s so many years later, like who cares?”
