Hilary Duff is sharing how she prepares for life on tour
The former Disney star and mother of four is hitting the road soon for her Lucky Me Tour, set to begin later this month in West Palm Beach, Fla.
As the first date inches closer, Duff is relaxing with her kids, her husband and friends like Nicole Richie and Joel Madden
Hilary Duff is unplugging before she hits the road.
On Wednesday, June 10, the 38-year-old “Come Clean” singer and mother of four shared a post to social media detailing how she’s spending her time before her Lucky Me Tour kicks off on June 21 in West Palm Beach, Fla.
“Un🔌 before the 🎤🚌,” she captioned an Instagram carousel.
Her roundup began with a photo of a shadow holding a wine glass outdoors followed by a selfie with a smirk. Other moments included time with her husband Matthew Koma, whom she married in 2019.
Duff shares son Luca, 14, with her ex-husband Mike Comrie and daughters Banks, 7, Mae, 5, and Townes, 2, with Koma, 39.
In between images of the Lizzie McGuire alum reading Tana French’s In the Woods poolside, red wine and more snaps of her spouse, there was also a screenshot of a FaceTime call with one of the couple’s daughters.
After showing off cookies, cocktails and Koma again, Duff ended with the two of them having a dinner date with Nicole Richie and her husband Joel Madden.
Duff also shared a few family moments to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, documenting her daughters spending a day at the park — playing in the sand, swinging on a jungle gym, and her little “Cookie Monster,” Townes, pouting at the camera in her pajamas at home.
As the “So Yesterday” singer soaks up her last days at home before her tour begins, she recently shared with host Jennifer Hudson during a May 20 appearance on the Jennifer Hudson Show that her son Luca doesn’t give her any “cool points” for being famous.
Still, she says her younger kids are always excited to see their mom perform.
“My little ones are my number one fan. They want to be at all the shows. It’s so cute,” she says. “When my confetti cannons go off, they can’t believe what they’re seeing. It’s really cute. Or if I do like a wardrobe change and I come out in something a little more like [done] up, they’ll be mind blown.”

Though her teen may not feel the same, Duff said, “Some of his friends at school will go out of their way to talk to me,” and she likes to point out to Luca that “they’ve definitely seen me on TikTok. So, like, that is cool.”
The former Disney star also previously spoke to PEOPLE about how her tour becomes a family affair.
“I spent hours with my assistant [looking at] the tour schedule, being like, ‘Okay, I want them here for this stretch. They can go home these days,'” Duff told PEOPLE in April. “It’s been a lot of logistics that can seriously bend a brain, but it’s going to be an adventure.”

“All of these cities have so much to offer, and I feel like there would be no other time when my kids would see the U.S. like this, so we’re just thinking of it as a big, long road trip,” she continued, adding with a laugh: “And hopefully, they don’t get bored with seeing my show every night.”
After kicking off her Lucky Me Tour in West Palm Beach, Duff is set to perform shows in North America, Europe, and Australia before it concludes in Guadalajara, Mexico in February 2027.
