It’s 2026, and wearing leggings and slippers to the airport is so yesterday. Hilary Duff raised our travel-day wardrobe standards this week, when she was spotted checking out of a hotel in London and heading to Heathrow.
The “Roommates” singer delivered the perfect dose of cozy glamour thanks to a massive faux-fur coat in cream, which she layered over easy staples: a classic white T-shirt and baggy black jeans. (The outfit perfectly followed Jennifer Lawrence’s wise styling advice: “Big goes with big.”)
To go with her wide-leg pants, Duff slipped on a pair of burgundy leather boots with chic square toes. Oval mustard sunglasses completed her look.
Duff kicked off the year with a winning comeback tour, Small Rooms, Big Nerves, in London, which earlier this week saw her take the stage for the first time in over a decade and a half. For her first performance, she mixed hits from a setlist that spanned 23 years of music, hitting listeners with pangs of nostalgia, as well as giving them a feel for what’s to come.
As she brought back her beloved classics like “Wake Up,” “So Yesterday,” and even “Come Clean” and “What Dreams Are Made Of,” she also nodded to the early aughts with her fashion: first, a sparkly denim set paired with a shaggy fur; then, a draped Miss Claire Sullivan bodysuit styled with white knee-high boots.
But off the stage, as she moves into her “Mature” era, Duff is embracing a more sophisticated, luxurious style. Some days ago in London, she was the picture of class while in an oatmeal polo-neck sweater styled with loose gray trousers and a quilted black Chanel 25 bag.
She’s so back.
