The spinoff of When Calls the Heart wrapped its first season on Hallmark+, and fans loved seeing the One Tree Hill alum back in a leading role. Portraying Rebecca Clarke, Joy’s character navigated life on the frontier in the town that would become Hope Valley in the 1800s. And while the show is set to return for season 2 in 2027, it looks like the actress has a lot more in store with Hallmark.
As Joy’s Hope Valley: 1874 co-star, Benjamin Ayres (who plays Tom Moore), revealed on Instagram, he and Joy will attend the 2026 Hallmark Christmas Experience from December 11 to 13 in Kansas City, Missouri. They’ll join several actors from the When Calls the Heart universe that weekend, including Erin Krakow, Chris McNally, and Lori Loughlin.
