House of the Dragon remains on track to return in 2026. A new report has just revealed that production has wrapped on the Game of Thrones prequel series’ upcoming third season.
According to Redanian Intelligence, House of the Dragon Season 3 has wrapped filming, with the update coming roughly six months after production began at Leavesden Studios, Watford, in March. With the fantasy series now in post-production and editing, the show remains on track to launch its third season on HBO in Summer 2026. While unconfirmed, many are expecting a release window similar to the one Season 2 had, which aired its 10 episodes between June and August 2024.
