Things are about to get weird in the desert (in a good way, of course).
On Sunday, Sept. 13, Weird Al Yankovic will perform at Acrisure Arena as part of his BIGGER & WEIRDER tour, featuring more video, more costumes, and more accordion than fans can handle.
The 90-city tour follows a successful 2025 run of 75 shows in 67 cities, which included sold-out performances at famous venues such as Madison Square Garden, The KIA Forum and Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
“We did 75 shows this year, and the fans weren’t sick of us yet,” said Yankovic in a statement, “so we’re just going to keep on touring until they are!”
Weird Al Yankovic will perform June 30, 2026, at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center.
How to get tickets to the Weird Al tour

If you don’t know Weird Al, ask your parents
If you didn’t grow up during the ’80s or ’90s, you probably still know who Weird Al is, considering he’s one of the highest-selling comedy recording artists in history, has won five Grammy Awards, is one of only three artists to chart in the Top 40 of Billboard’s Hot 100 chart in the previous four consecutive decades, and has parodied songs by Madonna, Taylor Swift, Michael Jackson and more.
Not everything he’s done has been a success, however. His 1989 film “UHF” was a box office disappointment, but it has since become a cult classic and featured comedy stars like Fran Drescher, Emo Philips, and Michael Richards. Similarly, his Saturday morning show, “The Weird Al Show,” was canceled after just one season in 1997. Although many artists view having Weird Al parody one of their songs as a mark of success, numerous artists have declined his requests, which include Prince and Paul McCartney.
But Weird Al remains a cultural icon and he was the subject of the 2022 biopic “WEIRD: The Al Yankovic Story,” starring Daniel Radcliffe of “Harry Potter” fame. He won his first Emmy Award as the co-writer and producer of the film.
“Weird Al” Yankovic performs at a sold-out show at the Des Moines Civic Center on June 27.
